Before wading through all the stuff below, I'm looking for some National
FB series coils. Have a bunch of SW series coils for swapping. Would like
to find...
oscillator and detector 'D'
RF 'E'
Curious if there is a set for higher frequencies than the 'A' set. 'AA'?

Looking for a strong offer on my National HRO 'collection'.
Really do not want to sell but do not have funds to ship to Hawaii or room
to play with it, once there. Presently located in Canton,Georgia 30114
USA

Not sure but it looks like I've got
HRO JR, HRO SR, HRO JR/SR(modified), RC-105, HRO-5. HRO-5A :-)
Plus, total of 17 coil sets.

4 COMPLETE, 2 NEED FRONT PANELS.

Can pickup or will pack all for $100 and ship at published fed ex
ground/home rates from 30114.

HRO receiver #1 HRO-5?
National HRO series receiver using octal tubes. HRO-5?
Tube lineup: 6sk7,6sk7,6sj7,6sj7,6sk7,6sk7,6sq7,6sj7,6v6
http://edebris.com/catalog2/item/1204

HRO receiver #2 RC-105
National RC-105 HRO receiver, coast guard
I have not seen many RC-105
Note, the 1930's Hallicrafters xtal filter!
Condition is pretty good.
Tube lineup 6d6,6d6,6c6,6c6,6d6.6d6,6b7,6c6,42

HRO receiver #3 HRO JR
A nice, although a bit worn, HRO JR
Tube lineup: 6d6, 6d6, 6c6, 6c6, 6d6, 6d6, 6b7, 6c6, 42
This is the only HRO jr I've ever seen, in person

HRO receiver #4 HRO JR, modifies or SR modified?
This is a very early HRO with some minor modifications and a lot of use
Must have been pretty nice performer to become so 'polished'.
Tube lineup is 58, 58, 57, 57, 58, 58, 2b7, 57, 2a5
That's right, a 2V set.
Note the pull type switch on the front which was common on 30's vintage
battery sets
This is in pretty nice shape considering age and that it saw a lot of use

HRO receiver #5 HRO SR?
Pre-war HRO needs a front panel and as with #6 needs a dial (I have one
dial)
Tube lineup is 6d6, 6D6, 6C6, 6C6, 6D6, 6D6, 6B7, 6C6, 42
Look closely, is HRO JR or SR?
Less effort required than for #5, needs only panel and usual old radio
refurb

HRO receiver #6 HRO-5A ?
Not sure which HRO this is.
It used 11 octal tubes which suggests it's the HRO-5A
Tube lineup would be 6k7,6k6,6j7,6j7,6k7,6k7,6h6,6j7,6v6.6j5,6h6
The lack of tube shield hardware suggests use of metal versions of these
tubes.
Note that the variable capacitor is lower value in each section than the
other HRO's I've shown here (1-5)
So, what is it, really?
It looks complete enough to warrant and deserving of a restoration job.
