clean ElectroVoice Model 638 desktop mic; just out of service from a
Heathkit SB-101/HP23/SB-650 station; everything is pretty darn clean,
formerly owned by a retired ALTEC engineer who took great care of his
equipment.
the EV 638 is very clean except for some clear tape residue on the lock-
ing button area of the push-to-talk bar, as he was using the mic in the
VOX mode w/ the SB-101.  Cord, connector, etc all super-clean; push-to-
talk switch and lock all work, but you'll have to clean off the little
remaining tape residue (i'll probably try to get to it tonite, it's com-
ing off fairly easily).  there are a couple very minor dings/scratches,
but overall it's a keeper for someone.
