Hi Mike,
Speaking of extraordinary conditions, this morning at around 7:00 AM local
time I had a very FB QSO with a DF2 station, in Germany---on 40-meters!
The German said it was near noon at his QTH. I was very surprised to be able
to work into Europe on 7-MHz in the morning hours, a treat normally reserved
for sunset!
