I am not sure why Drake insisted on running the external keying contacts
back through the cord to the power supply. Then providing an unusual
two pin connector on the power supply for interface.

The extra contact on the keying relay does terminate at the power
connector on the T4X. The ALC also terminates on the power connector.
I forget what pins. Best to check the schematic.

On some of the rigs I have seen in the past both connections were
brought out to female phono plugs (RCA plugs) at the power connector
that plugs into the transmitter. This brings both the extra T/R contact
and the ALC out at the back of the transmitter where they are more
easily connected to other equipment. The connections are brought out on
shielded cables that terminate inside the power connector shell. There
is plenty of room in the cable clamp to bring out these two additional
cables.

I am pretty sure that is not a standard Drake setup, but it works well.
