[Boatanchors] Stability

After reading the mail on all the good inputs on what you guys feel is
the best boatanchor receiver, I get the impression that Hallicrafters
(and maybe some Hammarlund ) rigs are less stable than others.
I have had three Hallicrafters rigs. S-85, s-40b, and SR-150. The only
one that I thought was a little drifty was the SR-150. Probably because
I did not try to use the s-85 and s-40b on rtty.
I did use the SR-150 on rtty and often found the need to tweak the
dial. Still, it did work at 170 shift and there were not many
complaints from receiving stations regarding drift. However, I have not
had any complaints from anyone concerning drift when I used the same
mode with other equipment (Drake C-line, and Omni-C).
So, is it just me or are some of the lower end Hallicrafters rigs
driftier than other rigs?
