Bill,

The GR 1001A is a GOOD sig gen. The manual is on BAMA, I put it up=20
there. Another is the AN/URM-25 sig gen.

The Heath VTVM should do fine. Simpson 260 or 270 will be mostly oka=
y.

A B&K (or is it BK?) counter can be had at a decent price - even=20
SHUDDER on the E place.

st equipment, resulting in a low confidence level in the test equipment. =
My meager test bench now consists of a BC-221-T (un-used for a number of =
years), a Gen Rad 1001-A signal generator (works fair but no modulation, =
poor attenuation, leakage, big and cumbersome), optoelectronics K7000 fre=
q. counter (works, but maybe something a bit better), Heath Kit V6 VTVM, =
Simpson 270 VOM, Radio Shack DMM, Heath Kit green eye condenser checker (=
meters & checker work ok). Also the sig. gen. & BC-221-T take up a lot of=
room. I think maybe if I could upgrade the rf signal generator and maybe=
the counter, the rest of the equip. would be ok.=20

sig. generator and counter is concerned. Any other suggestions would be =
appreciated....thanks...de Bill K4JYS
