Greetings All,


	I have received a request from and older Amateur that has not been
active for some time to help him get a KT-430 (HE-430) Lafayette Receiver
working again. The Receiver has been in storage for some time and did
need the Power supply filter cap replaced. What I am looking for is any
information on improving the receiver. I believe this was an entry-level
kit and does not have some of the niceties that other receivers have. A
Xtal Calibrator, HF Osc B+ voltage regulation, improving the Q-multiplier
/ BFO are my main area's of need. Any and all recommendations will be
greatly appreciated. 73's.
