Now let me tell you about the extreme set up. I bought a Military receiver
at a hamfest about 15 yrs ago.
It required 28 VDC. I connected up a car battery and a battery charger in
series to test it out. Worked great. Used it for months this way.
I guess I am Glad I'm alive.  Charles
