Please, let's not reinvent the wheel.

It's covered in the Astron manual and perfectly acceptable.

No diodes are necessary or used.

Make sure both supplies have the same Vo (set them to the same voltage).

Connect in parallel using 10ga wire.

Attach Pos cable to one supply and the Neg cable to the other. This allows
sharing and tracking.
