[Boatanchors] Off Topic Post -- Antenna Mast

I'm putting up a 60 foot Rohn 25G tower with the tapered top section.  The
top section accepts a 1/4 inch mast.  The rotor place is at the bottom of
the top section, and will not fit anywhere else on it.  Masts come in 10
foot sections, so about 1 foot or so will be above the tower top.   My
antenna is a Cushcraft  A3 (3 elements).

The mast was not there when I went to get it this morning.  Grrrr.....
(and the work party is coming tomorrow morning).     My next choice was
rigid conduit, but that's hard to come by in 10 foot sections.   I was able
to get EMT conduit.    Has anyone used EMT conduit?   Since I'm planning on
putting the beam only about 3 to 6 inches above the tower top,  I've half
concinced myself that the EMT conduit will work.   I certainly wouldn't want
to use EMT for a seven element beam up say feet above the tower because of
the bending moment.

Any comments ?
