Hi Gang,

I shipped the variable condensers assembly from my old dismantled
Hammarlund HQ-129-X to Australia....To protect the tuning shafts,
I cut a piece of 2 by 4 the exact size of the front of the chassis,
bored out holes to accomodate the shafts, etc. and securely
strapped it in place....To protect the underside which was open,
I used the very strong board from a legal size clipboard....The
ham in Australia reported it arrived in fine shape....
