[Boatanchors] Packing boatanchors

In this area (Dallas, Texas, area), with UPS there has
been more damage done by excessive vibration than by
dropping.  The boxes seem to make it without showing
much, if any, damage, however, the contents have been
vibrated so badly that screws come out, switch
contacts a misaligned, there are all sorts of shorted
components (physical shorts), etc.!

FedEx ground has been much "kinder" for the almost 2
years that I have been using them.  Before that, I
used UPS for over 30 years with only one problem (when
they ran a fork lift tong through a box!).  But, since
about 2000 even triple boxed and wooden crated items
have arrived damaged over 75% of the time.

Thus, I don't use UPS anymore!
