Gee Whiz, Heinz...don't hold back if you have something to say...I take it you don't care for the item in question?
Opinon or not, real candor has become a rare commodity in the New World Order of Political Correctness, and in the marketplace of ideas, helps keep some of the less informed of us (like myself) in touch with other points of view.

It may not be "Profiles in Courage", but it is appreciated by at least of few of us old neophytes.

There is no COLLINS KW-107 antenna tuner. It was made by KW Electronics

Ltd. in England, later known (sold to?) as Decca. The cabinet shape and

color matches the Collins S-line but the shiny aluminium knobs and the

cheap square white faced instrument with its clear plastic cover are not

what I want anywhere near to my Collins.

The asking price is rather stiff too. I bought one at the auction place

for less than a third.

Yes I admit that I have a handfull of KW Electronics gear, a KW-2000

transceiver, a separate receiver with matching speaker, the KW-107

antenna tuner and a later Decca KW-2000 CAT, a fixed 4-channel

transceiver full of the famous Plessey SL600 series integrated circuits.
