I ditto Kim's experience. When I was in the Mack Truck business I
represented myself in small claims court a few times to collect overdue
accounts. At least in Iowa, it wasn't a whole lot more than filling out
some forms. I never lost. No one ever showed up. But they all paid up.
U.S. Marshalls have a tendency to get people's attention real quick.
