Paul Harvey is right, and here's the "take" from one of my close Radio
Amateur friends:


  Saddam will let the coalition forces take Baghdad without any real
resistance.

  He will let the coalition occupy and set up command/control centers.

  At some time when he feels the most confident, he will launch his
chemical and biological weapons, (which are hidden in the deserts outside
Baghdad) into Baghdad.

  He will kill 5 million of his own people to take out a 100 thousand or so
Americans/British/etc.

  He will sacrifice his own people to strike a scorched earth victory
raising the whole of Iraq to the status of martyrs in the Arab world.

  This will ignite a mass rally in the Arab world with millions of soldiers
willing to martyr themselves ruthlessly to kill Americans everywhere.

  It shows how much of a madman he is. Then, the newly rebuilt city of
Babylon will be the new capital of Iraq, as he has planned all along.

  Keep this in mind as time goes forward. We are living in interesting and
dangerous times.

RACES Director, I can tell you that this is very true. I'm actually very
surprised and delighted by the extent which they want us involved. We
are an intergral part of the Homeland Security plan and take part in
many aspects other than simply radio(like planning). Talk about giving
something back. We work together with state and federal government
agencies within their plans and have a communications system interwoven
with the MARS system. Right now we're in the process of building a
communications vehicle for remote site/field use all the while ramping
up the with HS. The things I could (but won't!) tell you.

You can believe this much, though - there are some very amazing things
out there. Technology as well as actual events. And there is SO much
more to the story than you will EVER see or hear from the liberal
'network' media outlets.

Be prepared, be aware, and be informed.
