Sir,
I believe you are incorrect. I have, somwhere, a how-to amateur
publication from the fifties that spells out this requirement, and
mentions simply keeping the radio playing softly in the shack as meeting
the requirement.
I will try to track down the publication tonight, but someone may be able
to fill us in before that!
