Greetings Boatanchorites
A while ago there was a thread on having a radio meet here in the Mid
South. There were some positive comments made, but I don't remember
hearing anything more about it. Well, I still think it was a good idea,
even if I didn't think of it first. I wrote a short proposal,
approached the school administration about having an event and I was
given the go ahead. So to get this off the ground, I am looking for
fellow sellers, buyers, collectors, operators, appreciators and (your
favorite title here) of anything electronic. All types of electronic
equipment will be welcome be it military, commercial, computer, tube,
transistor, IC or any combination thereof. If it has active devices (or
they once were) you are welcome to come to buy, sell or show it off!
Location:
Lower (overflow) parking lot, Quapaw Campus
National Park Community College, Hot Springs, Arkansas
NPCC is the result of the merger of Garland County Community College and
Quapaw Technical Institute and are co-located at:
200 Mid-America Boulevard
Hot Springs, AR
71914
Time:
Saturday, 27 September 2003, rain or shine!
7 AM till the last seller leaves (or the sun goes down)
If there is any interest in setting up military radios, any type of
electronic exhibit or a ham radio station for either show and tell,
recruiting or just for the fun of it, please contact me about any special
requirements by 13 September.
If anyone is aware of a conflict with this date in AR or one of the
neighboring states (TX, OK, MO, TN or LA) please let me know!

Cross posting to another list is appreciated!
