Considering the rapid advancement of the state of the art for HT's, I
consider this a boatanchor (1980)
It is a Santec HT-1200 fully synthesized 143 MHZ to 149.995 MHZ, 1W/4W
on 9.6v
nicad pack (not incl., avail. at Radio Shack using my included
bat.leads and
connector), LED display, 10 programmable channels incl. offsets(split
freq
avail on one channel) and 3 scan modes, 16 button keypad - 16 DTMF
tones (no
CTCSS but can be added).

Will include AEA Hot-Rod HR-1 10db gain telescoping antenna, base
charger and
stand, leather case, hand strap and coiled mic cable with connector
(no mic
but has instr. for wiring numerous HT condenser mic's), Avanti window
mount
3db gain antenna, orig. manuals and schematics plus instructions for
all.

This is not one of the little ones, it weighs 1.3lbs. w/o battery and
measures
approx. 3in. wide, 7in. tall and 2.5in. deep. Oh, one more thing, it
works
great! Asking $65 OBO plus shipping from 33714.
