[Boatanchors] Millen balun info?

Hi Ray,
I just checked the 1962 ARRL Handbook. The Millen catalog
section says: "Suitable for use with the No. 90672 Antenna
Bridge or medium power transmitters." (1:4 impedance ratio.)
The same handbook has a construction article for similar
units described by W2ZE in August 1955 QST. These are
intended for use with an unbalanced SWR bridge to make
measurements on balanced antenna systems. They use NPO
ceramics a compensating caps. I suspect these components
limit you to "medium" power.
