Ross -

 It's a glorious rig, triple conversion and really...interesting to use. Triple
conversion, Wadley Loop stabilization....just a different kind of boatanchor, to
be sure. Probably not a lot of discussion because it's not as numerous here as
in Canada and Europe. There is a Racal list here on QTH as well, you might want
to sign up for it. Someone on the list will likely beable to give you the
address and info for Gary Weingart(sp?) who is a Racal ghuru and has many parts.
Well worth getting it into top shape and keeping it so. I'm not sure that all
the 17 models had the red badge, but he could tell you for sure.
