[Boatanchors] Capacitor needed

Larry:

I use a pipe cutter to gently open these type of caps, removing the innards,
and then installing miniature electrolytics inside. I then close up the can
and plug it in. The umpuckity inside can be a tad messy, but it can be
cleaned out well enough. Sometimes the internal pins are aluminum, which may
preclude successful soldering, but you can sometimes drive small brass
machine screws into the posts, and then solder to those.

Subject: [Boatanchors] Capacitor needed

I'm in need of a 20-20-20 @ 450WVDC plug in capacitor. It plugs into a
regular 7 pin tube socket. This one was made by Pyramid and is type
DO. I've got other non-plug in types to swap if necessary. If there
aren't any around reasonable, i'll have to remove the tube socket and
install a different type.

Actually a couple of them that test good would work. I've ran this one
thru the cap tester-revitalyzer machine but i'm not seeing good results
although the leakage is less than 2 ma at rated voltage.
