All:
Just wanted to know about a few things here. When one talks about the primary side of an audio transformer, a value would be thrown out "10k ohms center tap". Now I take it that the impedence from center tap to one of the "plate cap" leads of the transformer is 5000 ohms, correct?
Also, when one takes a look at the windings of the transformer from plate cap to plate cap, are the windings all "one wind" (as in all the turns are in one direction) or is one plate winding "out of phase" (with respect to the center tap) with the other plate widing? I'm talking about a push pull amp circuit.
Something tells me that the windings are the former but I just want to be sure.
