Hello all,
I have a Heath HD-11 Q-Mult that a friend picked up for me at a ham auction.
It seems in nice condition and I replaced the 'lytic caps just to be on the
safe side. I intend to use it with my R-390A receiver to allow me to null
interfering carriers.
I have downloaded the schematic on this unit but my question is this, Does
'anyone' have the connection and internal adjustment precedure for this
unit? I see it has two coils (L1 & L2) and a trimmer capacitor (C5) that I
suspect need to be "tweeked" to match the receiver. Also I'm not sure if a
coupling capacitor (value?) needs to be connected to the plate of the mixer
tube where you would connect it to.
So, if anyone has a manual with the above procedures I would appreciate it
if you could scan those pages and attach them to an email. (Mention the
attachment in the subject of the message please).
