Excuse my supposition :-)
I have throw it in my message because I have 2 old potentiometers that has
the same particular progressive-inter-spacing of the turns of wire... I
really don't know if they are a rarity...
I acknowledge your right correction, and re-phrase my trouble:
I have a CT160 AVO tube tester that need the 10kohm potentiometer that set
the -Vg1.
Judging by the numbered disk, I think it would have to be a logaritmic type.
But in this case it vary progressively its resistance turning the axle in
the opposite way respect the surplus
potentiometers that I have tested.
This cause a relevant error between the CT160 calibrated disk values and the
real -Vg1 supplied from the tester to the tube that I want to check.
Anyone know tips about?
There is a suitable potentiometer in the today's production, or where could
I find in Europe a potentiometer like the original one?
