I second the Dave's motion.

Also, now is as good a time as ever to put forth my plea to all of you to
consider putting your talents to use in service of our country by joining
one of the MARS organizations: Army, Navy/C.G., or Air Force.  It is no
longer a folksy organizination with Barry Goldwater running phone patches
from Vietnam.  Today, our main priority is homeland defense in the face of
the current threat and war on terrorism. Your pride in yourself and your
radio ability will multiply many times over.  By all means, contact me for
more info.

Also, in honor of my late father, I have posted my memorial QSL card to my
web-site.  Please drop by and take a look.

Tomorrow, November 11, is our time to remember our Veterans, both past and
present.

As for myself, it is a perfect time to telephone my only remaining Uncle
(Frank) who as a Marine fought with valor in the Pacific during WWII.   This
old soldier is now 87 and lives alone in Palma, Ohio, with only his
memories, his scrapbook, and his pooch. He was still one tough Marine when I
visited him last two summers ago.

Remember our Veterans tomorrow.  Better yet, tell him/her personally.  I
know that they will appreciate it and you will too!
