[Boatanchors] Superglue? (was Loc-tite)

Boy, have you got that right! What I try to use it for mostly is
glueing plastics and for some reason todays plastics just cannot be
glued. Every time I open the tube of super glue I get glue all over my
hands and everything but what I am trying to glue. Glad to know it is
not just me.

Does Superglue really work?  Over the years I've seen some fantastic
claims
made for it on TV, but I've not been able to duplicate them!  (Except
to
glue my fingers together.)
