None I found that are safe. Typical failure mode is cracked slug.
Remove coil form then
very carefully drill at it with medium speed dremel til it flakes
and cracks some, then pick at it with dental picks, then ditto til
it all comes apart and out. Clean out good, then new slug.
Takes maybe 20 minutes after you get the hang. Might practice on
old one.
So far, haven't lost any forms out of 15 or so tries...

Subject: GB> Re: GB- Update on slug tuned coil forms

Just to let you know, I tried this idea. The 5 mL pipets are just perfect
for the slugs that I have. While there are slugs of many types, most of the
ones I have saved are 1/4" dia. and with 28 threads per inch. Running a
1/4-28 (NF) down the pipet tubing makes a perfect fit for the slugs.

So if you need slug tuned coil forms (and have slugs) find someone who works
in a chemistry or microbiology lab and ask them to get you a few 5 mL
disposable plastic (polystyrene) serological pipets.
