Hi Kees,

Just getting through some of my email since being on vacation. I don't
know if you got your answer yet on the article.
There was an article in I think CQ around 1957, 58 or 59 that made a
mobile transceiver out of a bc453. Sounds like what you are looking for.
They used the bc453 IF as the SSB filter.
A friend of mine started to build one in the early 60's but never
finished it.

I built a transmitter after the W2EWL rig in the 60's. I used part of
that circuit and parts from other circuits. That was my first SSB rig.
It was not on the command transmitter chassis though.
