[Boatanchors] A collins story that will make you want to cry

Here is the story:

I bought this 75A4 because it was cheap ($300). I knew at that price there had to be something wrong. When I looked at it before I bought it I saw bad places top and side, and the filters missing. I figured I could fix it (what ever was bad). 

When I got it home, I found somebody had cut the cable harness out of it, it would require rewiring the radio, can't if any components are removed but I'm sure some have, not many if any.

Should I piece out the radio? or would anybody want it for $300.00 no rust or corrosion. What is the PTO worth? Dials? knobs? face? I would like some input here.
