[Boatanchors] Atwater Kent Question

Hello,

I have an AK Breadboard Model 10A.  On the bottom, on the right side,
underneath the three tube detector/amplifier round unit there is a space dug
into the wood.  In a picture of a different model 10A there is something
mounted in that space.  There doesn't appear to be any wiring to whatever
would have been in there so I'm wondering what, if anything, might be
missing.

Also, I have a model 55C chassis that appears to be in pretty good shape.  I
was wondering if someone has a cabinet for it.  I understand there were
several different cabinets made for this chassis.
