[Boatanchors] Re Disinterest In Log Books

I have observed over the past year any number of individuals trying to sell log
books for various brands; Hallicrafters, Collins etc. Even when in the wrapper,
unopened or opened but not used, they do not seem to be very desirable. I have
seen prices from $9-$20. Why do they not appear to be wanted? Seems like one
lying on the desk with the vintage radio gear would be a nice decorative touch,
if nothing else.
