I really doubt that there is any "inverter" in the Costco. Cheap (and 
mid-priced) stand alone inverters produce "modified sine wave" power ... I 
prefer to call it "modified square wave" power. Full sine wave inverters 
cost considerably more. I've put cheap inverters on the scope and the 
waveform looks nothing like the Costco. It is just a generator .. a cheap 
generator made in China .. and you get what you pay for.
