Tonight at MIT....

One last chance for a general / extra exam before the code
test is dropped.

The MIT Radio Exam Team will be offering a special ham exam session
*tonight* at 7:30pm (just over 2 hours from now) in room 1-150 prior to the
expiration of the Morse Code (Element 1) requirement. If you wish to take
the code test before it's gone, this is probably your last chance (*).

We will be offering all four amateur radio exam elements, so if you were
hoping to get your first Technician ticket, upgrade from General to Extra,
etc., feel free to come for that too.

The first time ham exams will be offered at MIT under the new rules without
the code requirement will probably be at the regularly scheduled time on
the penultimate Wednesday of March.

Please see http://web.mit.edu/w1mx/www/exams.html for directions and details
of what to bring.
We hope to see you there!

(*) Actually, the ARRL will be offering one very last session under the
old rules tonight beginning at 11pm, which you're welcome to go to, but
that exam session is at their headquarters in Newington, CT. See
