What about you?
In my case one of the main aspects of ham radio is doing PSEs.  Most likely I 
would still be working most of them as a volunteer of some sort.  As for the 
technical end, I have dabbled in doing special effects for amateur theatrics & 
would probably go beyond that into robotics.
