[BARC-List] A Goof and a Gotcha

Hi All,

First, my (first) goof of the year... In my comments in The SPARC, I mentioned we are having a club picnic the Sunday after the first meeting on the 16th. Wrong! We are having a club picnic this Sunday, the 12th, in Hingham. Come one, come all! Make up for my first mistake... the first of more that you'll see this year.

And in the 'gotcha' department, always check the parts list for quantity as well as size. To wit, I took apart my rotor control box tonight, ready to install a new brake delay kit. All the right quantity of parts were there, but the spacers provided were 3/8 inch, not the 5/8 inch size the parts list calls for. Moral of the story: Confirm and Verify.

I'm looking forward to a good group of Hams (and "Friends of Radio") on Sunday. Someone bring a volleyball or other soft target we can try to hit.
