The original Radio Shack store is still on Comm Ave in Boston, and is still a
Radio Shack.  I still pick up a Radio Shack catalog when they come out -- free
with purchase.

The Lafayette and Allied catalogs were pretty good too in the day.   Heathkit
was good reading. 

I still look forward to the HRO catalogs, and take a good look at MFJ too.  I
don't seem to be on AES's list this year.  Digikey and Mouser are pretty good
reading still; Jameco is like Radio Shack used to be, except more digital less
analog.  

And then there are tool catalogs ...
