Catalogs. Do you enjoy reading catalogs? In days gone by, each store produced catalogs with descriptions and prices of their wares, and a reader could spend hours and hours reading and dreaming. What are or were your favorite radio catalogs?

For me, it had to be the Radio Shack catalogs in the early 1960s. RS carried all the major brand name, as well as their own brand, equipment and the Ham section in the catalog went on and on for twenty or more pages! Did you know RS sold the Kenwood TS-500 (actually, the Trio TS-500), a predecessor to the almost ubiquitous TS-520? A young Ham could spend hours reading, and I did!
