I would have to call it an art, with touches of enginering.

> How is your station set up ergonomically?

Badly by the official standards, but good for me.

All equipment is at the wrong heights and angles... on either side of a very comfortable old wingback stuffed chair. With no table, I have plenty of room for laptop at perfect keyboard height or a log clipboard, and good aural separation of the several radios. The microphones stay nicely separate (unlike in the car, where I may grab the wrong one).

Since the pluirality of operation is during T-storms, antennae are also way closer to the gear and operator than normally advised.
