[BARC-List] OT: DOS disks

Thanks to all who offered suggestions for making DOS boot disks.

I've made a JAWS disk with the WR9R program. It looks like the WR9R does
something to the first serial port. The program and external speech box
will interact well for a bit, then, the serial port will 'freeze', leaving
me "ctrl-alt-del" as the only option. I've tried this setup with two
speech programs (JAWS and something called Tinytalk), also with two
different synthesizers.

Is there a setting in WR9R's configuration I need to turn off in order to
get it to leave the serial port alone? Maybe a command line switch?

I'll bring the "JAWS-enabled" boot disk, as well as the JAWS for DOS
distribution disk. Maybe we can try it on one of the FD lap tops? Does
any of them happen to have two serial ports?
