It would have to be my "junk box." Yes, I know, that's blasphemy to some hams, and I expect to get some flak for this. But I have a box full of old resistors- fairly large, I think they're 1/2 watt or better and capacitors that I got I don't remember where although I suspect it was courtesy of the Town of Hopedale Recycling Centre. They have been sitting on a shelf in my back hall waiting for me to use them. I think I intended to actually build or repair something with them at one time but that never happened so they have been collecting dust for a few years now. I don't think I'm the only one who hasa done this. :-)
