Hi, All. Please consider the following agenda items for the coming
BARC Business Meeting:
** Plans for the BARC Technician License class scheduled for early in 2003.
* I have recently received two inquiries seeking information
regarding the class.
** Finalize BARC/BERT/SATERN plans, logistics and assignments for the
February 8, ARES Exercise.
* A critique of our efforts at the November 8 Simulated
Emergency Test is located at:
http://ares.ema.arrl.org/mod.php?mod=userpage&menu=310706&page_id=34
What went right, what went wrong and what we can do better on
February 8.
** Field Day is June 28-29, 2003. Consider picking a Chairman and start
pre-event planning.
** Increase interest in being a Net Control Operator for BARC Net, NTS
Nets and other regularly scheduled nets.
* Recognize them in the SPARC? Sample news article submitted
on January 2.
* Certificates?
* Modify BARC Net Preamble to remind Hams that we need Net
Control Operators?
**. Find a Coordinator-Facilitator for BARC Field Trips and Visits.

"The SPARC", Volume XV, Number 1; January 2003, Page 4, Column 2:
"Send proposed agendas for the business meeting to
[email protected] before the meeting so we will see what others are
interested in and also be able to bring answers to proposed questions at
the meeting."
"This is where the real business of BARC is conducted. If you have any
suggestions, questions or comments, this is where to bring them. All
members are welcome (and encouraged) to join us at this meeting."
