[Azham] Question

Rudy,

I recently had a house built in Las Vegas, and much the same as the
other OM, I had four conduits run, one from each bedroom to a covered
junction box near the slab on the exterior wall. This is were I plan to
set up my ground system. I also had my network installer run coax leads
into the attic crawl-space so I can be as stealthy as possible due to
CC&R's. The conduits and coax runs are stubbed into what appear to be
electrical outlet boxes in each of the bedrooms, but are a means for me
to set up a station wherever I choose in the house.

In a pre-existing stucco home it should be easy to drill on any outside
wall to run ground and coax into a bedroom. I have seen plastic tubes
that Cox and Qwest use to route things through the wall, but with the
new caulking and expandable foam products it should be a cinch to
insulate and make the installation insect free. A long drill bit, and
the skill of knowing where your plumbing and electrical are routed in
the wall would also be a big help for reaching the outside of the
house.

I am certain there should be a supplier of the plastic flanged tubes
that Cox and QWest use here in the Valley somewhere. Hope this is of
some help.
