[Azham] Question

Hi Rudy -
Our house is typical Arizona stucco with foam insulation underneath. My
antennas come through the wall into the shack. There are two, 6-outlet
boxes without rear covers installed back-to-back through the wall opening.
Then two, chrome cover plates are installed on the boxes, one on each side
of the wall. I bring the coax through the outside cover using vinyl
grommets and lots of silicon sealant. The inside cover has SO-239 jacks for
five antennas and one rotor cable which uses an 8-pin Jones plug. This
works great for me, and makes it easy to disconnect the antennas if there is
an impending storm. I do have the full PolyPhaser grounding system, but I
still disconnect the antennas when lightning is around. Just don't trust
lightning.
