[ARRL-OK] W9M is NOT a Registered Participant in the Route 66 On The Air Event

I just received the following from the Official Coordinator of the Route 66 On The Air Special Event.

Gentlemen:
Yesterday I received an email from a person that wanted clarification on a station using W9M as their callsign. I told him that he was NOT an official station for our event. Then I went to QRZ and looked up W9M, it
 shows that he has listed himself as  ROUTE 66 QSL PARTY. he states that "all the W6... callsigns were taken" . I went back an looked into incoming emails to see if he contacted asking to be part of the event, I did not see any such request. Looking further on the page it has a picture of his purposed QSL card, on the card is the the title of our
 event. I will be emailing him to ask him to remove any reference to our event. Also I have put a notice on the event website in three places to inform people of this issue.
If you get a minute, please look up W9M on QRZ, so you can pass along this information to your club members that are working the event, 
I do not appreciate someone that pulls a trick like this, I consider this unacceptable to those of us that worked so hard to make the event what it is today. This is definitely not showing him to be using "good amateur radio practice"
