My comment about CBS wasn't political but rather has to do with their
shrinking demographic.  Up until the retirement of Walter Cronkite CBS
earned the trust of many Americans.  Since that time they have drifted
and lost the younger audience.   However, older Americans whose
trust was earned have remained CBS' core audience and that audience is
shrinking.  What I perceive is taking place is that CBS and the other
outlets have become more shrill and tended toward sensationalism in an
effort to retain an audience.  The result is that too many older viewers
live in a certain level of fear of the younger generations--a phenomenon
that I have personal experience with from my father, unfortunately
enough.  It's shameful and destructive and serves someone's ends, but
certainly not mine or my father's.

Just remember that everything in the paper is true, until it is about
you!
