[ARRL-OK] Altus Area Repeater WAS Fwd: 146.790

This repeater served SW Oklahoma for a number of years. After going
silent briefly, it's been resurrected.

Frankie is the moniker given it because of all the lightning strikes
it takes. Given that and the resurrection note above, maybe it's a
MONSTER! :)

The 146.790 -  100.0 PL known as "Frankie" is back on the air at Altus.

This machine is a split site repeater.  The transmitter is on Navajoe
Mtn near Headrick
east of Altus, and has been up.

Dale N5VX and I put the receiver up on Walsh Mtn about 6:00 PM Monday
11-09-2009 to complete the system.  So far everything seems to be working
as it should.

Please tell your friends and neighbors the .79 machine at Altus is
back in operation
as I am sure that I have missed someone or do not have an email for them.
