In honor of all Veterans, and to thank them for their service and
sacrifice, the Strategic Air Command Memorial Amateur Radio Club (SACMARC) will
once again operate a Special Event station from 1500 - 2300 UTC on Veterans'
Day, Nov 11, 2009, using General Curtis E. LeMay's old call sign K0GRL. We
will be operating from the Eastern Nebraska Veterans' Home (ENVH). Our
advertised frequencies are 18.147, 14.247 and 7.247 plus or minus QRM (we may
not be on all bands at the same time depending on operator availability and
the number of stations set up). All members are invited to contact us on
advertised frequencies, and any member in the area is invited to stop by
the home and visit the station and make some contacts.
Looking forward to contacting you on Veterans' Day
