If you have the Kenwood service manual, look on page 32. This
page shows the "Control Unit" which is board X53-1290-00.
 
The board number is printed on the board about half way down
the right side (in the picture).
 

The battery (CR-2032) is at the top left of the picture of the

board and stands vertically/perpendicular to the board.
 
 NOTE THE POLARITY (+ and -) for installation.
 

If the owner manual for the rig also contains board layouts, you
should be able to find it.
 
 This lithium flat-pack battery is available at all sorts of stores.
