PLACE: City of Okmulgee, OK

FYI: All stakeholders will stage in Okmulgee (location TBD) at 0800L on
March 3, 2008.

Basic scenario is that a rail car will cause a disaster, which will
quickly overcome local resources and require a regional response.

63 WMD Civil Support Team, Oklahoma National Guard has been (planning and
training) and will be playing a large roll in this exercise. 63 WMD CST
has asked be the participation of ARES.

STAKEHOLDER FOR THIS EXERCISE ARE:

As you know from your participations or training, the scope of the ARES
role is to augment when normal communications channels become overwhelmed
or to fill in "When All Else Fails". ARES will need 5 to 6 ARES
volunteers to offer to participate in the regional exercise.

Leaders this is very good training opportunity for your teams.

Responders should be prepared to work in whatever weather conditions occur
on the day of the exercise (which could be rescheduled for severe
weather), and be a self sustaining station with Day 1 kit as well as ARES
response t-shirt and ARES Photo ID.
