[ARRL-OK] Tsunami Relief Fund

What I see pertaining to the tsunami when I go to that
site is an unknown new entity soliciting contributions.
The "helpasianvictims.com" organization MAY be
legitimate, but I am skeptical.
Typical naming by scam outfits that want your money.
Just like the phony names chosen by special interest
groups wanting your votes for gambling (euphemistically
called "gaming" to hide the real purpose) and other
such purposes.

I would say "If you don't recognize one these many organizations, then don't
contribute to it!"
Some of them are known to be reputable ... like the Salvation Army, some of
them may not be.
The information came from the "Emergencymail.Org" site which is also a very
well known national emergency organization which distributes local, state
and national emergency mail and information. Please take a look at it
<http://www.emergencyemail.org/> and see if you do not agree.
